MOSFET – Off after a delay
In this video we use the charge discharge cycle of a capacitor as a timer. When you press the button, the gate of the FET goes high and it switches on, while at the same time it charges the cap. When you release the button, only the charge left in the cap keeps the gate open, and when it discharges fully, the FET is switched off. You can have delays from minutes to days…
