When attempting to repair your TV, finding the model number and/or model code for your TV is important, because this is the information that you can use to find replacement parts. When looking for your TV model number, you will want to look at the back of your TV. On the back you will usually find some stickers in the middle of your TV or towards the bottom.
These stickers contain a variety of information from the contents of your TV to the copyright information for your TV. The most important sticker, which contains your TV model information, will usually have the logo or manufacturers name on it. This sticker is going to provide a lot of information about the TV. In this case it shows the model number, model code, distribution manufacturer, when it was made and what voltage the TV will work with.
You will always see the model number on these stickers, but some manufacturers will also include the model code. The model code is usually a longer version of the model number. When searched, the model code will lead you to identical parts that are used in the TV. The model code is the best way to search for replacement parts. If there is no model code, then you can use the model number to search for replacement parts. The TV model number will lead you to parts that were used in this series of TVs.
After searching your TV model number or model code, you can use the tabs on the left side of the page to filter your search results. Certain manufacturers put the information on a sticker on the side of the TV, so that if you have the TV mounted, you do not have to remove it from the wall to find the information. If you are asking a question or seeking out TV repair help, having the model number or model code will greatly help your repair success.
